Our Natural Hardwoods

Our solid wood bookcases are handcrafted using real, North-American hardwoods. We're passionate about forest conservation and we source all our timber from sustainably managed forests right here in the USA.  Although we're most famous for cherry furniture our bookcases are also available in natural walnut, maple and oak wood.

Much of our maple and oak wood comes from Vermont’s own Green Mountain Forest. Our cherry and walnut woods are sustainably harvested from forests in the mid-West and mid-Atlantic regions, where both species grow in abundance. Wood Stains

We love clear natural finishes, which help to bring out the natural beauty of wood. However, If you are looking for a darker or lighter color, just use our drop-down menus to apply a wood stain.You'll find many choices of stains from light ivory whitewashes to medium ambers to dark ebony and espresso stains. Each product shows the wood and finish options available for that bookcase. Click on the "Order Samples" tab to have wood samples sent to your home.
