Our handcrafted Vermont-Made Shaker Bookcase is made in a small workshop near Montpelier, Vermont using sustainably harvested hardwoods. The smooth, satin finish and available glass doors will add luxury to any setting.

All items marked On Display, In Stock, Available to View and Clearance items are subject to wear and tear and may show signs of gentle use as our display model. 

Finish for cherry and walnut is a hand rubbed linseed oil with a Poly Gel on the tops of occasional tables and case goods.

Construction Details

  • Handcrafted in Vermont, USA, using real solid hardwoods
  • Available in natural cherry wood
  • Cherry and Walnut woods have a traditional hand-rubbed linseed oil finish. Tops are finished with a satin urethane for extra protection.
  • Maple wood pieces are finished with satin urethane. The maple grain is more dense and it does not absorb linseed oil as well as the other woods.
  • Little to no VOCs upon delivery. 
  • Side panels and shelves are a premium furniture grade plywood, which is a wood veneer (cherry, maple or walnut) over several layers of solid poplar wood that are then glued together. Glues used are water based and have zero VOCs.
  • Backs are a birch plywood panel. Visible front facing backs have a wood veneer (cherry, maple or walnut) over the birch panel.
  • Full extension metal undermount soft close slides
