All our Heartwood Shaker fine furniture collection is handcrafted to order in Vermont in your choice of solid cherry, maple, or walnut woods with a natural eco-friendly oil finish that not only protects but enhances the natural beauty of the wood.

Construction Details

  • Handcrafted in Vermont, USA, using real solid hardwoods
  • Available in natural cherry, natural maple and natural walnut wood
  • Cherry and Walnut woods are finished with a hand rubbed linseed oil and wax finish.
  • Maple pieces are finished with a tung oil and wax, as the maple grain is more dense and it does not absorb linseed oil as well as the other woods. Little to no VOCs upon delivery.
  • 55"H bookcases feature a fixed bottom shelf and 3 adjustable shelves above
  • 72"H bookcases feature a fixed shelf at 30" high and 3 adjustable shelves above
  • All Case Pieces except for blanket chests use premium hardwood plywood. Veneered backs and solid wood backs available. Contact us for details.
  • Built to order
  • Our case pieces ship fully assembled. Free installation by white glove delivery crew. (Small case pieces that are not part of a larger order may be boxed and shipped by FedEx or UPS.)
