Overview

Delivery Information: This furniture piece is available for pick-up from our Southern Vermont showroom or delivery throughout New England, New Jersey, New York City and select areas of eastern New York State.

The Vermont-Made Shaker Bookcase is made in a small workshop near Montpelier, Vermont using sustainably harvested hardwoods. The smooth, satin finish and available glass doors will add luxury to any setting.

One (1) 54"W x 13.75"D x 73.25"H bookcase available in natural cherry with full panel glass doors and 5 adjustable shelves per section (10 adjustable shelves total) 

Finish: Oil body with a polyurethane top

Construction Details

  • Handcrafted in Vermont, USA, using real solid hardwoods
  • Available in natural cherry wood
  • Cherry and Walnut woods have a traditional raw linseed oil finish. The tops are then coated with a satin polyurethane to protect against water rings and scratches.
  • Maple wood pieces are finished with hand-rubbed satin polyurethane only as the maple grain is more dense and it does not absorb linseed oil as well as the other woods. Little to no VOCs upon delivery. 
  • Back consists of birch one-piece panels
  • Sides and shelves of these case pieces are crafted using solid hardwood veneers (cherry, maple or walnut) over premium furniture grade plywood.
  • Doors are solid wood with glass panels
  • Adjustable European hinges
