Linn Walnut Platform BedBy Copeland Furniture
Designer furniture has never been as versatile and environmentally conscious as the Linn Platform Bed. Copeland Furniture's skilled craftsmen use upcycled natural American black walnut wood in an effort to reduce wood waste produced in the manufacturing process. The result is a one-of-a-kind mosaic of rich wood grain and unique characteristics in a high-quality bed. The design is further comprised of an ergonomically inclined headboard, subtly angled legs and a platform style frame. Retro mid-century modern style meets modern engineering in the angular lines of the Linn Bed.
All Linn Bedroom Furniture is finished using Greenguard certified low emissions finishes. The woods used in the construction of this collection are locally sourced and come from sustainably managed North American hardwood forests.

Bed side rails are solid hardwood.
All Copeland Furniture bed rails are fastened with a simple to use but extremely durable system designed keep the joint firm and rigid for the life of the product. Here's how it works:
- A headless, threaded machine bolt is screwed into the headboard. Wooden dowel pegs align the bed rail with the headboard or footboard. This forces the bed rail into proper orientation and prevents any future twisting.
- The parts are then joined together with a special contoured washer and hex nut using the supplied open-end wrench.
Bed Slats and Support
Linn beds utilize three center support legs for additional mattress support.
Platform Kits are similar to T-Slats in that they consist of a plywood horizontal element reinforced by a solid wood spine. However they differ in that they are much wider and are intended to provide the direct support for the mattress. Platform Kits come in sets of six platforms which are 10" wide, distributed the length of the bed to provide adequate support for a mattress alone. They are standard on all Cherry beds.
