Delivery Information: This furniture piece is available for pick-up from our Southern Vermont showroom or delivery throughout New England, New Jersey, New York City and select areas of eastern New York State.

Our solid wood American Country Chest features a traditional dovetail drawer construction and heavy-duty drawer slides. Each chest is skillfully handmade in Vermont using sustainably harvested woods.

One (1) available in natural maple

Finish: water-based urethane

Construction Details

  • Handcrafted in Vermont, USA, using real solid hardwoods
  • Available in natural cherry, natural oak and natural maple wood
  • Medium-density fiberboard back
  • Drawer fronts made from multiple pieces of wood glued together
  • Drawer fronts and sides are made of solid wood
  • Drawer bottoms consist of birch panels
  • Dovetail drawer joinery
  • Drawer slides consist of Steel Epoxy coated full extension roller ball bearing drawer glides. These glides are much quieter and as they are full extension, will allow for more access to the drawer. They have a 110# load capacity. Please be advised they open and shut a bit harder for the first 1/4” until they are used a bit.
  • Clear, non-toxic, low maintenance water-based urethane finish. Little to no VOCs upon delivery.
