Bed Construction Details
- Wood: All solid hardwoods: cherry, maple or walnut.
- Mattress Support: The Cherry Moon Dovetail Bed uses 20 hardwood slats, each about 2⅜" wide and spaced about 1⅝" apart. These slats slide into the side rails using dovetail joinery. All other Platform style beds use one bundle of 8 hardwood slats to support the mattress; each slat measures 7¾" wide with holes drilled at either end and slips over pegs distributed evenly along the side rail, creating a solid interlocked platform. On King and Queen size beds, slats are spaced 2¼" apart; on Full and Twin size beds this spacing is 1¾". Mattress and Box Spring style beds use a set of 4 hardwood slats. King beds add a center hardwood beam dropping into pre-attached hardware below the slats for additional support, leaving the space below open for under-bed storage.
- Side Rails: Side rails are connected to the headboard and footboard using a steel quick latch.
- Joinery: Mortise and tenon joinery in the headboard and footboard.
- Finish: Cherry and walnut beds are finished with hand-rubbed linseed oil only. Maple beds are finished with Poly gel only — maple's denser grain doesn't absorb linseed oil as well. Little to no VOCs upon delivery.
- Shipping: Beds ship disassembled. Free set-up and installation by white-glove delivery crew.

Table Construction Details
- Wood: All solid hardwoods — cherry, maple or walnut.
- Leg Connection: Table legs are attached to the table top using metal corner braces with bolts.
- Extension Slides: Dining table extension slides are made of solid wood.
- Finish: Cherry and walnut tables are finished with a blend of hand-rubbed linseed oil and Poly gel. Maple tables are finished with Poly gel only — maple's denser grain doesn't absorb linseed oil as well. Little to no VOCs upon delivery. See special care instructions.
- Shipping: Tables ship disassembled. Free set-up and installation with white-glove delivery. Smaller tables may ship boxed via FedEx or UPS, unassembled — the customer attaches the legs with included hardware.

Case Construction Details
- Wood: All solid hardwoods — cherry, maple or walnut. Exceptions noted below.
- Backs: Birch one-piece panels. Veneered and solid-wood backs are available for an upcharge of 15–45%; contact us for details.
- Sides & Shelves: Solid hardwood veneers (cherry, maple or walnut) over premium furniture-grade plywood.
- Drawer Fronts: One-piece, cut from a single board rather than multiple pieces glued together.
- Drawer Sides & Backs: Solid poplar wood (or solid wood, depending on collection).
- Drawer Bottoms: Solid birch veneer panels.
- Drawer Joinery: Sliding dovetail.
- Drawer Slides: Full-extension metal undermount slides.
- Doors: Solid wood floating panels.
- Door Hinges: Adjustable European hinges.
- Stiles & Rails: Cope and stick.
