I received my desk and bookcase earlier this week and am kind of obsessed with them! The craftsmanship is beautiful and clear to see. The cherry is a lovely wood with slight pink tones in it that will redden over time, and I can't wait to see how it grows more beautiful over the years.
It took about 4 months from order to delivery, which seems like a lot, but once you get the furniture you'll understand why. This isn't veneer big box store furniture shipped from overseas. It's made right here and they'll even plant more trees with every purchase! My room smells like a forest and I love that by buying here, I'm contributing to responsible forestry and the sustainability of a special trade. Sean Henry was great to work with (and delivery guys too). I need to start saving up for more pieces! It's an investment for sure, but you'll have it for life. Thank you, VWS!
