Custom handmade to order with solid natural or stained American Black Walnut wood. Mid century, modern, 1950s American design is what Copeland Walnut dining furniture collection is all about. Handcrafted in Vermont, with sustainably harvested hardwoods, this collection combines the clean, unadorned lines of the International Modernists with organic and geometric forms. 100% American made.

The option of providing your own custom fabric upholstery is available with this chair. Select the 'Upholstered in Your Own Fabric' option located under Chair Seat options and please read the following information carefully for what is required for this custom option.
Please Note: Production of your chairs will not begin until your fabric is received. This will affect the lead time for completion and delivery. You will be notified when the fabric is received.
Upholstery Fabric
For each chair you have purchased, the workshop requires the following amount of fabric to ensure you send enough to cover your chair(s):
- Please send 1 yard of 56" wide upholstery fabric per chair. If your custom fabric has a pattern, please send us 1 1/2 yards of 56" wide fabric per chair.
- Leather: 20 square feet of material per chair
Fabric with patterns: If your fabric has a pattern, please take a picture and mark where the pattern should be centered on the chair seat. You may need to include additional fabric if your pattern requires centering. If your fabric has stripes please notate which direction you wish the design to be oriented. If specific instructions are not supplied with your material, Vermont Woods Studios will not be held responsible for misapplied material.

At Vermont Woods Studios, each piece of fine furniture is carefully handcrafted and made to order right here in Vermont. The current lead time for production is approximately 8-14 weeks.
Once complete, your furniture is blanket-wrapped and shipped by our white glove delivery partners. The transit time from our craftsmen to you depends on accessibility to your area. In some cases, for example with small coffee tables, we use standard shipping via Fed Ex or similar carrier. Shipping and delivery details.

If you live in a location that is outside of our regularly serviced area, please add one to two weeks to your transit time.
We provide wood samples for $6 each. You may keep them or return them for store credit.
