Mid century, modern, 1950s American design is what the Copeland Catalina dining furniture collection is all about. Handcrafted in Vermont, with sustainably harvested hardwoods, this collection combines the clean, unadorned lines of the International Modernists with organic and geometric forms.
Construction details include 45 degree miter construction where solid wood tops and sides are joined to create a perfectly seamless perimeter. The technique to produce this style requires extreme precision and is only attainable through exacting detail. The leading edge of this modern buffet is beveled to present a thin delicate, line that belies it's considerable heft. Custom solid walnut wood throughout, fully finished drawer boxes with solid wood drawer fronts/sides/backs, asymmetrical English dovetails and full-extension, under-mounted, soft close drawer slides (with no visible hardware) for sturdy, smooth operation. Integrated wooden bar pulls running the length of the drawers and doors. USA made in VT.
