Construction details include 45 degree miter construction where solid wood tops and sides are joined to create a perfectly seamless perimeter. The technique to produce this style of case requires extreme precision and is only attainable through exacting detail. The leading edge of this high end chest of drawers is beveled to present a thin delicate, line that belies it's considerable heft. Custom solid walnut wood throughout the case, solid maple legs (for optimum structural strength) stained dark chocolate to match the walnut, fully finished drawer boxes with solid walnut wood drawer fronts/sides/backs, asymmetrical English dovetails and full-extension, under-mounted, soft close drawer slides (with no visible hardware) for sturdy, smooth operation.
