Bed Construction Details
| Wood: | All solid hardwoods: cherry, maple or walnut. |

| Finish: | Cherry and walnut beds are finished with a hand rubbed linseed oil. Maple beds are finished with tung oil. All beds also receive a coat of satin finishing wax as an additional layer of protection. No VOCs upon delivery. See special care instructions. |
| Mattress Support: |
Solid poplar slats. Center Support for All Sizes (except twin): A hardwood beam is hung from the center of the head and footboards to provide additional support. The center support leg matches the wood type of the bed. |
| Side Rails: | Side rails are connected to the headboard and footboard using heavy duty connector bolts. |
| Joinery: | We use mortise and tenon joinery in the headboard and footboard. |
