About Us

Vermont Woods Studios showcases Vermont furniture makers on our website and at Stonehurst, our Southeast VT showroom. Our furniture is made in workshops across Vermont, using premium solid hardwoods which are sustainably harvested from well managed forests. We are an online fine furniture gallery operating out of a restored 200 year old farmhouse. We are looking for someone to join our progressive team of sales and customer service personnel.

About You

About the Job:

  • The job is a permanent, full time position
  • You will start with learning about the business and helping customers shop for furniture and home decor
  • You'll have the opportunity to take on additional sales work and grow in your profession as our company grows
  • Work schedule averages out to a 5 day/40 hour workweek, M-F 9am-5pm with rotating Saturdays. If a Saturday is worked then another day during the week will be a day off. Exact daily schedule can be somewhat flexible depending on your needs
  • Work location is 538 Huckle Hill Rd in Vernon, VT , a non-smoking facility


  • Learning all the details about our furniture and home decor products as well as the logistics required to deliver them to customers across the country
  • Establishing customer relationships & conveying our brand
  • Answering phones and addressing customer questions and concerns
  • Assisting customers to customize their furniture
  • Taking orders and entering them into CRM (customer relationship manager) system
  • Updating customer accounts in CRM system
  • Maintaining our showroom, including arranging furniture and home decor displays
  • Serving as back-up for order processing and logistics activities
  • Tracking orders through completion and following up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction


  • Be very computer savvy, Internet savvy and proficient in standard office software (including gmail, G Suite and MS Office Suite)
  • Be proficient with sales and customer service software including online customer relationship management systems (CRMs)
  • Have excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Have ability to work independently and organize and prioritize work load
  • Be flexible with changing priorities
  • Be able to multi-task
