Today, we’re excited to shine a light on our Modern Industrial Furniture Collection designed by our very own team at Vermont Woods Studios.
The Modern Industrial collection features solid wood table tops with powder-coated black steel legs. They’re perfect for the modern kitchen, commercial restaurants and pubs, or just to spice up a room with some new colors and textures.
The collection also offers a Modern Farmhouse style which includes the addition of a wood apron around the table tops and bench seats.
These tables and benches are available in natural cherry, walnut, or maple woods and are finished with an oil-based, low-VOC finish called Rubio Monocoat.
Notably, the Modern Industrial Dining Set, our Modern Industrial Table and Modern Industrial Dining Benches, are built with 1.75″ thick solid wood. This is significantly thicker than a traditional table top and part of what makes the Modern Industrial collection so unique.
The Muse Behind the Metal
Several years ago we noticed a trend in modern dining furniture– we started seeing lots of wood tables with metal legs.
When we started noticing that customers were coming to us for these designs, we asked some of our craftsmen to start offering options that aligned with this new style.
