All of our finishes are non-toxic, low VOC formulas designed to provide superior environmental health performance as well as optimal protection for your wood furniture against the effects of moisture and normal wear and tear. Listed below are our most popular, standard finishes. Use the pull-down menu for your product to see which of these finishes are available as standard (no upcharge) for your furniture item.
Finish: Synthetic / Natural Oil Blend, Hand-Rubbed:
This finish is a widely used finish and is both very beautiful and durable! It requires little maintenance and has a low sheen, low matte look. It is smooth to the touch but is not shiny. It is resistant against most of the normal wear and tear that your furniture may experience. Setting drinks on your furniture will not ruin the finish, but we still recommend using coasters. A logical choice for families with young children.
Finish: Natural Oil, Hand Rubbed:
This finish is similar to the synthetic/natural oil blend but is absorbed more by the wood. It does not have the moisture protection that the synthetic oil blend provides. It does require some maintenance. Depending on the humidity where you live, we recommend that you re-oil your furniture every 3-6 months to keep it looking brand new.
