Our thick Large Chopping Blocks are a necessity for any chef. Each custom block is unique, and made from FSC certified woods recycled from our woodworking shops. We use scraps from furniture making when possible. This board was made from slices taken off table legs that were tapered at the bottom. You can see the angular shape of the stripes- almost like in a backgammon board.
NOTE: Every cutting board is made to be absolutely unique, so you may not receive exactly what is in the picture, although it will be very similar. Each cutting board will have a selection of 5-8 different colorful hardwoods.
